အေစာၾကီး iPhone 5s ကို ၀ယ္ခဲ႔ၾကတဲ႔ ဦးဦး ေဒၚေဒၚ ကိုကို မမ တို႔ ဟာ ေမွ်ာ္လင္႔ မထားတဲ႔ “SIM Not Valid” ဆိုတဲ႔ error message ကို ျမင္လိုက္ရေတာ႔ သူတို႔ ရင္ထဲမွာ iPhone နဲ႔ေ၀းသြားသလို႔ ခံစားလိုက္ရပါတယ္တဲ႔။

Verizon Sim Card နဲ႔ ကို iPhone 5s မွာ သံုးခဲ႔ တဲ႔ သူတိုင္းဟာ အခုလို႔ ျပတဲ႔ error message ကို ျမင္႔ေတြ႔ခဲ႔ၾကရပါတယ္။

WiMAX အေၾကာင္း သိေကာင္းစရာမ်ား

ကဲ... ပရိတ္သတ္ႀကီးေရ WiMAX ဆုိတာကုိ ပရိတ္သတ္ႀကီးလည္း ၾကားဖူးမွာပါ။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တုိ႕ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံမွာ WiMAX ကုိ စတင္အသုံးျပဳလုိ႕ရေနၿပီ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ WiMax ဆုိတာ အင္တာနက္ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္တဲ့ စနစ္တစ္ခုပါပဲ။ အရင္တုန္းကေတာ့ အင္တာနက္ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ရာမွာ Dial-up တုိ႕၊ ADSL တုိ႕၊ Broadband တုိ႕ အသုံးျပဳၾကပါတယ္။

ယခု WiMAX မွာေတာ့ ၎တုိ႕ေတြႏွင့္ မတူတဲ့အခ်က္က ၀ါယာႀကိဳးေတြ အသုံးျပဳစရာမလုိဘဲ အင္တာနက္ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ႏုိင္ျခင္းပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ Broadband နဲ႕ ခပ္ဆင္ဆင္တူပါတယ္။ ဒီအတြက္ေၾကာင့္လည္း WiMAX ကုိ Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) လုိ႕ေခၚပါတယ္။ Wireless နဲ႕ အင္တာနက္ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္တာပါ။ သုိ႕ေသာ္လည္း WiMAX က သာမန္ WiFi ေတြႏွင့္ မတူပါဘူး။

WiFi ေတြထက္ Network Area Range က က်ယ္ျပန္႕ပါတယ္။ ဘယ္ေလာက္ေတာင္ က်ယ္ျပန္႕လဲဆုိရင္ မုိင္နဲ႕ခ်ီၿပီးေတာ့ အသုံးျပဳလုိ႕ရပါတယ္။ အဲဒီေတာ့ဗ်ာ WiMAX ႐ုံ တစ္႐ုံတည္ေဆာက္ထားတယ္ဆုိရင္ သူရဲ႕ Network Area Range အတြင္းမွာရွိတဲ့ မည္သည့္ေနရာကမဆုိ အင္တာနက္ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္အသုံးျပဳလုိ႕ရပါတယ္။ အသုံးျပဳမည့္သူဘက္မွာေတာ့ ၎ WiMAX ကုိ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ဖုိ႕ရန္အတြက္ Media ေတြ ရွိေနရမွာေပါ့။

WiMAX ရဲ႕ Signal က Digital ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဆုိလုိတာက Wireless ဒစ္ဂ်စ္တယ္ ဆက္သြယ္ေရးစနစ္လုိ႕ ဆုိလုိတာပါ။ ၎ WiMAX ကုိ IEEE ကေန IEEE 802.16 လုိ႕ သတ္မွတ္ေပးထားပါတယ္။ WiMAX ကုိ MAN အတြက္ ရည္ရြယ္ၿပီး ထုတ္လုပ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ MAN ဆုိတာက Mantropolitan Area Network ကုိ ေျပာတာပါ။ MAN Network က ပုံမွန္အားျဖင့္ Wireless သုိ႕မဟုတ္ Optical Fiber ေတြကုိ အသုံးျပဳပါတယ္။

WiMAX မွာေတာ့ Wireless ကုိ အသုံးျပဳတာေပါ့။ ၎ MAN Network က ၿမိဳ႕တစ္ၿမိဳ႕စာအတြင္းေလာက္ကုိ Network ရပါတယ္။ ကီလုိမီတာ (၅၀)ေလာက္အထိကုိ Network ခ်ိတ္ဆက္လုိ႕ရပါတယ္။ ဒီေတာ့ WiMAX ကလည္း MAN Network အမ်ဳိးအစားျဖစ္တဲ့အတြက္ ကီလုိမီတာ (၅၀) ေလာက္ပဲ ရမွာေပါ့။ ဟုတ္ပါတယ္။

WiMAX မွာ Network Area Range က အတည္တက် တပ္ဆင္ထားတဲ့ WiMAX Station (Fixed Station) မွာဆုိရင္ ကီလုိမီတာအေနနဲ႕ ၾကည့္ရင္ ကီလုိမီတာ (၅၀)ေလာက္အထိရၿပီး၊ မုိင္ အေနနဲ႕ ၾကည့္မယ္ဆုိရင္ မုိင္ (၃၀)ေလာက္အထိ ရမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အဲဒီလုိပဲ ေရႊ႕ေျပာင္းလုိ႕ရတဲ့ WiMAX Station (Mobile Station)မွာဆုိရင္ ကီလုိမီတာအေနနဲ႕ၾကည့္ရင္ (၅) ကီလုိမီတာ မွ (၁၅) ကီလုိမီတာ အထိရွိၿပီး၊ မုိင္အေနနဲ႕ ၾကည့္မယ္ဆုိရင္ေတာ့ (၃) မုိင္ မွ (၅) မုိင္ အထိ ရမွာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

အဲဒီေတာ့ စဥ္းစားၾကည့္ေလ WiMAX Network Area Range က အႀကီးႀကီးပါ။ အကယ္၍ အတည္တက် တပ္ဆင္ထားတဲ့ WiMAX Station တစ္ခု တည္ေဆာက္ထားတဲ့ဆုိရင္ ၿမိဳ႕တစ္ၿမိဳ႕အတြင္း မုိင္(၅၀) ပတ္လည္ေလာက္ကုိ Network ခ်ိတ္ဆတ္ၿပီး Internet အသုံးျပဳလုိ႕ရမွာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ WiMAX ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ အသုံးျပဳဖုိ႕ရန္အတြက္ ကုန္က်စရိတ္ကလည္း သက္သာပါတယ္။

ယခုဆုိရင္ ကမၻာတစ္၀န္းမွာ WiMAX ကုိ က်ယ္က်ယ္ျပန္႕ျပန္႕ အသုံးျပဳေနၾကပါၿပီ။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္သိရသေလာက္ WiMAX ဆုိတဲ့ နာမည္က WiMAX Forum က ေပးထားတယ္ဆုိပဲ။ ၎ WiMAX Forum က အက်ဳိးအျမတ္ တစ္စုံတစ္ရာ ရည္ရြယ္ၿပီး ဖြဲ႕စည္းထားျခင္း မဟုတ္ဘဲ WiMAX နဲ႕ ပတ္သက္တဲ့ Product ေတြ၊ Service ေတြကုိ ခ်ဲ႕ထြင္သြားဖုိ႕ရန္ ဖြဲ႕စည္းထားျခင္းျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း သိရပါသည္။

WiMAX နည္းပညာႏွင့္ WiFi နည္းပညာဟာ အနည္းငယ္ ကြဲျပားျခားနားမႈေတြ ရွိပါတယ္။ WiFi ရတဲ့ ကြန္ပ်ဴတာဟာဆုိရင္ အနီးစပ္ဆုံး Access Point, Wireless Router, Hotspot အစရွိသည္တုိ႕ႏွင့္ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္တာပါ။ WiMAX မွာေတာ့ ထုိကဲ့သုိ႕ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ျခင္း မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။ WiMAX မွာေတာ့ WiMAX Base Station ရယ္၊ WiMAX Receiver ရယ္ဆုိၿပီး အပုိင္းႏွစ္ပုိင္းရွိပါတယ္။ WiMAX Base Station ကုိေတာ့ WiMAX Tower သုိ႕မဟုတ္ WiMAX Booster လုိ႕လည္း ေခၚဆုိပါတယ္။ အဲဒီ အပုိင္းႏွစ္ပုိင္းရဲ႕ အလုပ္လုပ္ပုံကုိ ကၽြန္ေတာ္သိသေလာက္ ရွင္းျပေပးပါ့မယ္။

WiMAX Base Station ဟာ Signals ေတြကုိ ထုတ္လႊင့္ေပးတဲ့ ေနရာတစ္ခုျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ၎ WiMAX Base Station မွာ Electronic Device ေတြႏွင့္ WiMAX Tower ပါရွိပါတယ္။ WiMAX Tower က ဂ်ီအက္စ္အမ္ ကြန္ရက္ေတြလုိပဲ ေလထဲမွာ Tower ေတြကုိ ေထာင္ထားၿပီး Radio Signal ေတြကုိ ထုတ္လႊင့္ေပးတာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

ေနာက္တစ္ခုက WiMAX Receiver ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ၎ WiMAX Receiver က WiMAX Base Station မွ Signal ေတြကုိ လက္ခံရယူၿပီး WiMAX Network ကုိ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္တဲ့ Device တစ္ခု ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အဲဒီ Device ေတြဟာ မ်ားေသာအားျဖင့္ Stand Alone Antenna သုိ႕မဟုတ္ PCMCIA Slot Card ေတြအေနနဲ႕ ကြန္ပ်ဴတာေတြမွာ တပ္ဆင္ထားပါတယ္။

WiMAX Base Station ကုိ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ပုံႏွင့္ WiFi ကေန Access Point ကုိ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ပုံကေတာ့ အလားသ႑ာန္တူပါသည္။ WiMAX မွာ Network Area က က်ယ္က်ယ္ျပန္႕ျပန္႕ ရရွိတာပဲ ျခားနားပါတယ္။WiMAX Base Station တစ္ခုဟာ ျမန္ႏႈန္းျမင့္တဲ့ Microwave Link ေတြကုိ အသုံးျပဳၿပီး အျခား B ase Station အမ်ားႀကီးဆီကုိ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ႏုိင္ပါတယ္။ ၎ Link ကုိ Backhaul ဆုိၿပီး ေခၚဆုိၾကပါတယ္။

ဤနည္းအားျဖင့္ WiMAX Roaming ကုိ ရရွိႏုိင္သလုိ၊ Connections ေတြကုိလည္း ျပဳျပင္ႏုိင္ေၾကာင္း တင္ျပရင္းနဲ႕ ရပ္နားလုိက္ပါတယ္။
